For sale here is a very scarce Lyle Dickerson Model 8615 bamboo rod. 8’6 2/2 for a 5 or 6 weight line. Circa 1954. Ferrules are 15/64 with an excellent fit. Brown wraps with black tipping. Full wells grip with downlocking reel seat and walnut spacer. Very good overall condition. The varnish shows age and use marks throughout, although no cane is exposed. The female ferrule was re-wrapped by South Creek Ltd. One tip is 3/4" shorter than the other (more than likely it came out of the shop like this). Original bag and tube.

An outstanding and scarce Dickerson find and a fantastic fishing rod. Medium fast action. Capable of tossing big flies to hungry fish!
