For sale here is a lovely Marc Aroner 7'6" 3/2 4wt Hunt Pattern bamboo rod. The rod is in excellent used condition. All sections are full length and straight. Transparent olive wraps with red tipping. All hardware is oxidized and much of it shows some wear. Slightly swelled butt. Fine nickel silver checks. Classic cigar style grip 5 3/4" in length. Handsome and unique cap and ring reel seat with a mortised burlwood spacer. The spacer is inlaid with three strips of bright nickel silver. Along with the beautiful aesthetic effect, the bars also serve to protect the highly figured burlwood from the sliding ring which rests on the bars as opposed to marring the burlwood spacer. It also adds a bit of weight, which feels great paired with a Hardy 2 7/8" Perfect! Most of the bluing has worn off the sliding ring and the buttcap also shows slight wear from use and age. The ferrule fit is excellent. Sculpted and knurled brass ferrule plugs add a nice finishing touch to this masterpiece. The rod weighs 4 1/8 oz. The action is medium-fast dry-fly. The rod has plenty of backbone thanks to the swelled butt. The fine tips allow for one to delicately and precisely place a small fly in close range to a picky trout, and fine tippets are sure to be protected. Marc is a true master of his craft and has an extensive heritage in rod making and exceedingly scarce machining skills! The rod includes its original bag and finely machined tube with brass fittings.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
