An RL Winston fiberglass fly rod, 7'6", 3-piece, 1-tip, and built for a #5 line. Mint condition. Med to fast action. Ser #1550. The rod weighs 3 ounces on my scale. Dark brown glass with dark red wraps with epoxy coating. SRMC #8 carbide stripper with chrome snakes. Spigot ferrules (superior to sleeve over ferrules, in my opinion). The grip is 5 3/4" long and turned to a full Wells shape. The reel seat is a frost-coated down-lock aluminum screw lock with a single pocket cap. The spacer looks like varnished Cocobolo but has a couple of transportation marks on the varnish. The rod packs into a red cloth Winston bag and aluminum tube with Winston logo.
