For sale here is a Mario Wojnicki five-sided, hollow-built bamboo rod - 257 cm, or 8'5" 2/2 for a 5wt line. Model number 257V5. Serial #1126. The rod is in near mint condition with only minor soiling of the grip. Deep straw colored cane. Olive silks with black tipping at the hookkeeper, sig wraps, male ferrules, and tip tops. Oxidized hardware throughout. Uplocking slide band over a cork spacer. EC Powell-style wells grip. Action is pure Mario on the parabolic side of semi-parabolic and the rod is a joy to cast. Medium side of medium-fast. This taper is very effective for swinging flies or streamers, as well as being able to cast larger dry flies very effectively.The rod weighs 3 3/8 oz. Comes with original bag and tube.
