For sale here is an early Mario Wojnicki five-sided, hollow-built bamboo rod - 8'8" (265cm) 2/1 for an 8 weight line. Fast action. The rod is in excellent used condition. Honey colored cane. Transparent olive silk wraps. Experimental five-sided rod with composite ferrules (size 16/64). The rod weighs a mere 4 1/8 oz. Varnish finish. The tip is 1” shorter than the butt (made that way) and has a very, very slight fishing set. Uplocking blued nickel silver ring reel seat over wood spacer. The EC Powell style grip is in fine condition. Comes with original bag and tube.
