For sale here is a scarce 3rd model Meek 44 german silver, single action fly reel. Introduced in 1899, the Meek 44 is one of the most collectible fly reels desired worldwide. This third model, at 2 1/4" diameter, features the raised back plate. The reel is in excellent condition throughout and all original. All screws are in fine shape. Very nice click. The reel foot is full length and unaltered, complete with serial number 3904. The ivory handle is in fine shape. Don't miss this opportunity to acquire one of the most rare American-made fly reels in fine original condition!
