For sale here is a South Creek Ltd. bamboo rod -- the Gierach/Best Taper signature rod. 8'6" for a 6 weight line. Three sections with two tips. The rod weighs 5 7/8 oz. Downlocking cap and ring reel seat and oxidized guides and ferrules. Stunning agate stripping guide. Powell-style grip. Rod was made in 2016 and remains in near mint condition. All sections are blemish-free. Very smooth progressive dry fly action on the medium side of medium fast. The ferrules are size 18/64 and 11/64 and the fit is perfect. Comes with original bag and labeled tube. The transfer of ownership always includes a lifetime ability to have Mike do a "tune-up" whenever necessary.
