For sale here is a very scarce hollow-built rectangular quadrate rod made by Mike Montagne. 7'6" with two sections and two tips, marked for a four weight line. Brilliantly executed by this bamboo rod maker who enjoys quite the cult following owing to his unique and highly engineered rod designs. This rod weighs 4 oz. Extremely fast action. The rod is in excellent condition with minor use marks. Comes with original Montagne bag and tube. Also comes with an original Montagne catalog from 1983-1984, which goes into great detail on his design principles. Lastly, there are two letters included with the sale.
