A Tim Abbott bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 3-piece, with 2 mids and 4 tips. One set of mid-tips feels like it would work well for a #3 or #4 while the other set feels like it would work nicely for a #4 or #5. 3.2 ounces on my scale. Near mint condition. There is a presentation inscription plaque for the original owner set on the top of the leather tube. The rod could use a tiny bit of straightening. Flamed cane with a two opposed node pattern. Matte finish varnish. Maroon main wraps with black edges and bronze snake guides. Semi truncated and oxidized swiss style ferrules. The grip is done in a western profile with a small heel and is composed of 1/8" corks. The reel seat is an oxidized cap and ring over a mortised spacer of highly figured wood. The rod pack into a leather case.
