The step ferrules are oxidized jet black. The grip is 5 3/4" long and turned to a very blunt cigar similar to a Garrison. The cap and ring seat are oxidized with no die stamp or engraving. The wood spacer is mortised and highly figured, possibly cherry root burl or maple. The rod packs into a tan-colored cloth bog and a black crackle paint tube with brass hardware.
