Orvis Battenkill 8' 3/2 5wt Bamboo Rod

For sale here is a 8' impregnated Orvis Battenkill bamboo rod. 4 1/2 oz. Medium to medium fast action. Size 10/64 and 16/64 ferrules and the ferrule fit is good. Rated HDH for a DT6 line but is best with a 5 in my opinion. Serial #9551 made in 1950 by Cal Skinner. The rod is in near mint condition. No repairs and none needed. Original bag and tube. It appears the mid-section could be a later Orvis replacement.
