An Orvis Battenkill bamboo fly rod, 8', 3-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #6 line. Serial #16526. 4.5 ounces. Medium fast action. Oven tempered impregnated cane. Some light use with some cosmetic casting cracks at the ferrule wraps. Three up node pattern. The main wraps are brown with a carbide stripper and chrome or stainless snake guides. The rod could use a mild straighten. The step ferrules fit snugly and retain 98% of their oxidation. The cork grip is 6" long and shaped to a medium cigar profile The reel seat is a downlocking aluminum screwlock with a walnut spacer. The cloth bag is olive and the aluminum tube has an early style Orvis data sticker affixed to it.
