For sale here is an Orvis Kit Rod 8' - 5/6 weight. The rod is in excellent condition. The cork is a bit soiled but only adds to the character. This is an impregnated rod as many of Orvis' rods are. The tip section a straight as well as the butt. The ferrules fit together tightly as they should and "pop" when pulled apart. This is a 5/6 weight rod and is excellent for al around trout fishing.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.
