An Orvis Shooting Star bamboo fly rod, 9', 2-piece, 2-tip, built for a #9. 6.8 ounces. Medium to slow action. Used but good condition, straight, with no ferrule problems. Resorcinol glue and moderately dark cane done in a three up node pattern. Brown wraps. The rod is set up with aetna foulproof guides. The grip has a good amount of hand soiling, is 7" long, and tapers down to a slim cigar. The reel seat is a 4" long all anodized aluminum downlock. There is a 2" long permanent fighting butt with a heel plate. The rod is put up in a gray cloth bag and an aluminum tube with brass collar and aluminum top.
