For sale here is a 1990's reproduction of the rare C. F. Orvis 1874 Trout Reel. The reel is marked C. F. Orvis Maker, Patented Manchester, VT. Serial number 099 of 250. Ventilated narrow spool. The diameter is 2 7/8". Includes walnut box with section for detachable handle. Also comes with original box and pouch. The reel is mint/un-fished.
