A very nice Dr. Paul Hermann Salmon fly reel, 3 3/16" diameter and set up for LHW. Mint, unused condition. Highly polished aluminum rims with black sideplates, all done in the classic S-handle design. 1 1/4" spool width and the reel weighs 11.3 ounces on my scale. Serial number "118" which is stamped into the underside of the foot crossbar along with "P. Hermann, Maker". An entirely benchmade reel down to the screws, and Dr Hermann made just a little over 200 of these salmon models. Bogdan-style drag system with a 1.9:1 multiplying retrieve. A superb example of Dr. Hermann's craft, this reel packs into a red fleece drawstring pouch.

◄ Shipping Information: We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.
