For sale here is a Paul H. Young Para 15 bamboo rod. Built circa 1949, 8', 2/2, 4 oz. nickel silver cap and ring, Ritz/cigar grip, golden/lemon wraps. Lettered in PHY's handwriting on three flats, First flat: 8' - 4 oz. "Parabolic 15" Second flat: Paul H. Young Co. - Detroit - Maker Third flat: H.D.G. or H.D.H. The rod is in excellent plus condition. The ferrule size is 15/64 and the ferrule fit is perfect. All cork reel seat with nickel silver die-stamped cap and ring. One tip is 1 1/8" short, made that way according to Bob Summers, who sold this rod to my consignor. Comes with its original bag and tube.
