For sale here is a Payne Model 100 bamboo rod in unused and original condition with the original paper-wrap still on the grip. 7 1/2' for a 4 weight line. The bluing on the pocketed butt cap shows some minor handling marks, probably from the owner of this rod displaying it in a rod rack. A classic Jim Payne rod from the early 60's - sold by Payne's Highland Mills shop, as there is no A&F stamp on the butt cap. A rare and highly collectible piece of American fly-fishing history which remains in new condition. Also comes with canvas case that fits over the tube.
This fine rod comes from the personal collection of Carmine Lisella of the Jordan Mills Rod Co.
