For sale here is a Payne Model 208 in near mint restored condition. The mid section is 2 3/4" short but all other sections are full-length. The two tips have very slight fishing sets. The Model 208 started its life as a nine foot rod with a tag weight of 5 3/4 oz. and now weighs 5 5/8 oz due to the short mid section. If you ever wanted a nicely restored nine foot Payne rod, this is a great opportunity.

There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
