Payne Model 208 Bamboo Rod 9' 3/2 #6

VFT3426

For sale here is a E.F. Payne Model 208 9′ 3pc light dry fly bamboo rod for a #6 line. The rod is in excellent refinished condition. One tip is down 1/4". Chestnut brown silks with rust colored tipping. Rust, yellow, and purple tipping at the ferrules and winding check. The rust-colored silks are obviously not Payne-original. This rod has an up-locking screw-lock reel seat with Payne's standard Spanish cedar spacer, both in excellent condition. Red agate stripping guide. Western style, 6" grip is lightly soiled from honest use. Size 10/64 and 16/64 ferrules, the fit is perfect. Weighs 5 1/4 oz. Rod comes in a replacement bag made of heavy canvas, tip tube with brass fittings, and a two compartment tip bag. The tip tube can only accommodate one of the tips but the replacement canvas bag has four slots so all of the rod sections are protected. This rod is ready to fish again and does not require any repairs.

Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop).
