For sale here is a Payne Parabolic bamboo rod in near mint refinished condition. Seven feet one inch, all sections full length and straight. Best with a four-weight line. The rod weighs 3 1/4 oz with all cork reel seat and cap and ring. The cap bears the Payne trademark stamp as well as the “Sold by Abercrombie & Fitch New York” stamp dating it to pre-1963. The size 11/64 ferrule fit is excellent. Complete with original bag and labeled tube and very nicely preserved hang tag. A very fine casting rod with medium parabolic action.
