A splendid R. D. Taylor 8' 2/2 for a #5 line. Two-opposed node pattern. The reel seat consists of a handsome cap and ring over what looks to be a maple spacer. Bright hardware and ferrules. This rod bears the inscription "26-5-171" on butt section and "171" on both tips. It is in superb "lawn cast" or minimal use condition. The wraps are apricot colored with red edges. The ferrules and reel seat hardware all exhibit Bob's superb hand-made craftsmanship. Powerful medium action. The rod comes in a tan poplin bag and brass-topped aluminum tube.
