For sale here is a R.K. Bolt bamboo rod in near mint condition -8 feet for a 5 weight line in the standard 2/2 format, labeled 3.55 oz. Serial number 0805. Reverse half wells grip, uplocking seat over zebra wood, dark straw shafts, double wrapped brown silks tipped yellow and wrapped ferrules. Bolt is the heir apparent to the Howells legacy, purchasing Gary’s workshop in its entirety and building rods in the Howells vernacular with extraordinary integrity. The action is on the medium side of medium slow action.

◄ Shipping Information: We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.
