A nice Rk Bolt bamboo fly rod, 8', 2-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #5 line. Serial #603. 3.6 ounces. Lightly used condition with a tiny bit of ridging to the grip. The rod has a moderate medium. Hollowbuilt with a medium tan oven temper color cane done in a two opposed node pattern. The main wraps are brown with yellow edges and an extra band of red at the keeper. Carbide stripper and chrome snake guides and tip tops. The grip is 6" long and done in a Western profile with a hidden pocket cap. The wood spacer is snakewood and the uplocking aluminum screwlock is made in Robert's shop. The barrel is stamped "RK Bolt, Maker" and the same stamp is found in tiny form on the welt of the ferrule. The rod shaft varnish is excellent. Comes with a red cloth bag and aluminum tube with Robert's data sticker.
