For sale here is a Brackett-era Winston Rod Co. bamboo rod - 8', 2/2 for a 5 or 6 weight line. Serial no. 1877. 4 oz scripted weight. 4 1/4 oz. actual weight. Near mint condition. Great western rod for big flies and windy situations. The rod has lots of reserve power compared to some of the lighter-tipped 5wt Winston rods that seem more appropriate for smaller flies and finer tippets. Comes with original Winston bag and tube.
