For sale here is a R.L. Winston 9'6" 3/2 8wt bamboo rod with a marked weight of 5 7/8 oz. Serial no. 4098. Made in Twin Bridges, Montana. The rod is in mint unused condition. All sections are full length and straight.

Transparent honey-colored wraps and burgundy tipping. Tangerine agate stripping guide. Deeply blued guides. Ring hook keeper. Fine knurled nickel silver checks. The full wells grip is 6 1/2" in length. Bright nickel silver up-locking reel seat over a beautifully figured mortised wood spacer. The cork/burl cork fighting butt is 1 1/2" in length. The ferrules are size 19/64 and 11/64 with a great fit. The rod weighs 5.95 oz. The action is medium-fast. Includes original labeled bag and original labeled tube.
