For sale here is a bamboo rod made by Rolf Baginski of Germany - his "Westwind" model - 7 feet, 3/2 made for a three or four weight line. Darkly flamed cane, serial #1352. Tapered cigar grip. Reel seat is German silver/Argentine slide band over a stunning amboyna wood spacer. The guide wraps are clear with fine black edging at the ferrules and stripping guide. Bright fittings throughout. The rod is in excellent+++ condition and complete with original bag and tube. The ferrules are 12/64 and 16/64 and the ferrule fit is excellent. The rod weighs 3.7 oz and the action is medium fast with a slightly parabolic feel. The cane work and varnish as with all of Rolf's rods is top-notch!
