For sale here is a masterpiece from Ron Kusse, from his venerable "Magnum Opus" series of bamboo rods. The Magnum Opus is the most sought-after rod made by Kusse and it is said to have taken him 120 to 150 hours to make each one. This one is 7 1/2 feet, three sections with two tips, for a five weight line. The rod features a rattan handle, bright nickel silver cap and slide band reel seat with maker and model stamp, full intermediate wraps, chestnut silk guide wraps with selective burgundy tipping, agate stripper, bright nickel silver truncated ferrules. The rod is in near mint condition, having only been lawn cast, and comes with its extremely nice original bag, hang tag, and all-brass tube.
