For sale here is a Sage - 6000 Series "6012" fly reel in the Storm color. Near mint condition. Large arbor. Palming access. RHW or LHW. Quick change spool system. Sealed drag to keep out even the smallest grains of sand. The adjustable, incredibly stout drag features a one-revolution drag knob with numbered and detented settings. Reel comes loaded with 20# orange Dacron backing.

In 2012, Peter Morse broke a world record on a Sage 6012 reel, Peter managed to land a 19 kg Southern Bluefin Tuna on 8kg tippet! While Peter is one of the few with the skill, and the knots to pull something like this off, he was quick to give credit to the Sage reel.
