An excellent 8' Sam Carlson "Four" 3-piece, 2-tip rod built for a 5 weight line. "Carlson" is elegantly lettered on the butt section and the rod is wrapped in a handsome green with a keeper and three windaways on the butt section. The grip has been done in a standard cigar, and the reel seat is set up with a downlocking screw lock over a walnut spacer. This rod has been very lightly used with some minimal brassing on the ferrules and slight cracking to the ferrule wraps but is certainly in very good condition overall. This "Four" is a classic example of the kind of high-quality rods that came out of Sam's workshop for many many years, and would be a great addition to any collection. Comes with bag and tube.
