For sale here is a 7’6” 2/2 Carlson quad. Marked Thomas Four / Made for Bob Gregory / by “Sam” Carlson / 731-4752 and has the butt and tip taper codes marked within the hook keeper wrap. It was made in 1973 and has ruby wraps with black signature wraps and tipping at HK. Blued square ferrules, screw up-locking reel seat with walnut spacer. Each tip marked 731. Original tan bag and rare original black finish tube. This rod is from what is considered Sam's best period. It features browntone cane and probably the best and smoothest ferrule fit you will ever see on a rod. This rod has been lightly used and is straight as the day it was made. It has a fabulous action and casts a 5wt. line beautifully. Condition is Excellent+ original.
