3123
An excellent Saracione Islamorada #12 reel, 4 1/2" diameter and set up for RHW. Silver anodized frame with a black anodized spool. Serial #123. I can find now sign of the reel having been fished. This is part of a large arbor series of saltwater reels that Joe created recently designed to battle the toughest bonefish, tarpon, or permit. This #12 model weighs 14 ounces, and has capacity for a #12 line with 300 yards of backing. It is heavily ventilated to keep it lightweight and for ease of flushing salt off. The reel has a multi-disk carbon fibre drag that feels like it could stop a tug boat when set on full, and it is adjusted via a range knob combined with a lever. As usual the fits and finishes of Joe's reels are stunning. Comes packed in a padded neoprene pouch and original box with paperwork. This is a fantastic option for the saltwater angler or anyone who appreciates classic saltwater reels, and they are pretty tough to find.
