For sale here is an early Saracione Monarch fly reel -- Model M40/AR -- 4" diameter. Anti-reverse. Near mint+ condition. Right or left hand retrieve (currently set up for right). Full-range drag adjustment knob. Very smoothly operating cork drag. Brushed aluminum frame. Saltwater resistant. Will accommodate 8 or 9 weight lines plus ample backing. Weight - 17 oz. with the backing. Comes with its original Saracione neoprene reel case.

There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items.
