A superb Saracione Mark V Gear and Pawl salmon reel, 4 1/4" diameter and set up for LHW. Loaded with backing but this reel is in mint condition with no sign that it has been fished. 12.6 ounces. Handsome silver anodized frame with black sideplates and classic S-style handle. Serial number 781 which is etched into the foot. The crankside plate and spool are ventilated. "Saracione" and "Mark V, 4 1/4", G&P, Made in the USA" etched into the faceplate. The drag is adjusted with small knob with 13-stop calibration. The drag itself is made out of oversized gear pawls and heavy springs with impressive stopping power for a G&P style drag design with a satisfyingly loud click as well. Designed to balance rods in the 13 1/2' to 15' range that case 8, 9, or 10 lines, and hold 225 yards of backing. It would be hard to ask for more out of a salmon or steelhead reel than what Joe has designed here, including the world class craftsmanship and precision that his reels are justifiably known for. Comes in the original neoprene pouch and box with paperwork.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
