A rare Joe Saracione Tobique 1/0 Limited Edition fly reel in 1/0 size. This was from a set of Vom Hofe replicas that Joe made in the 1990's and he only made 20 of these (I believe he had planned to do fifty in total, and the serial numbers were chosen by the customers, hence this one as serial #025). This reel is a flawless reproduction of the original Tobique complete with highly polished hard rubber sideplates and nickel silver rims. It measures 3 3/16" diameter with a 1 5/16" cross pillar width, 2:1 ratio multiplying retrieve, a rear 7-position drag, two rolling cross pillars, and a bronze spindle. It weighs 9.8 ounces on my scale, and is designed to hold #7/8 lines with approximately 100 yards of 30lb backing. This one is in near mint condition with a few very tiny marks on the frame edge in one area on the rims and some tiny mounting marks on the foot. Very clean otherwise. Set up for LHW. The reel comes in a hard leather Arne Mason case embossed with "Saracione" and the reel size. A superb homage to one of Vom Hofe's best reels by a modern master!

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
