Scott Fiberglass Fly Rod - 7' 3wt 3 piece

For sale here is a Scott original F-series fiberglass rod -- 7' 3 piece rod for a 3 weight line. Made in Montrose, Colorado. Serial no. 166609. The rod is in excellent+ condition. It has been fished but was cared for very well. Un-sanded fiberglass blank, a characteristic of Scott rods. Emerald green wraps on the bright guides, green and silver with white tipping at the ferrules. Green with white tipping at the winding check and tip-top. Ceramic stripping guide. The handwritten script is in a turquoise color. U-shaped hook-keeper. Spigot ferrules for a more efficient transfer of energy through the sections. All sections fit together snugly as they should. Green witness marks for easy alignment. Sculpted nickel silver winding check. Cigar grip with a slender tapered nose. The grip is soiled but in otherwise great shape. Nickel silver cap and ring reel seat with a mortised cork spacer. "Scott" laser engraved on the bottom of the butt cap. The rod weighs 2.80 oz. Lovely medium-fast glass action.
