A Sweetgrass penta fly rod, 7'6", 3-piece, 2-tip, built for a #4 line. Serial #1909. Medium slow action. Lightly used with a modest amount of hand soiling to the western-style grip. Varnished blond straw colored cane. Maroon main wraps with black edges at the keeper, ferrules, and tip tops. There is an extra band of orange at the keeper. The keeper is 1 flat right as is the lettering "7 1/2' 3 3/8oz #4, 1909" and 2 flats right "Sweetgrass" and 3 flats right the original owners name and "2014". Agate stripper and snake brand guides. The step ferrules are wrapped all the way to the shoulders of the males and to the welts of the females. 6 1/4" western-style grip with a bamboo front cork check. The cap and ring appear to be anodized with the sweetgrass logo anodized on the cap. The reel seat is a stabilized burl. Comes in a maroon bag and a tan painted aluminum tube with the Sweetgrass logo sticker fixed to it.
