For sale here is an early Ted Godfrey Salmon II spey reel. Made in 2009. Right-hand retrieve. The reel is in like new condition. 4" diameter. Frame width is 2".For line weights 8/9/10. Capacity is approximately WF9+300yds 30#. Exclusive 10-position adjustable disc drag system. Nickel silver rings and other fittings. Super hard aluminum bronze main bearings.Take down is accomplished with the single center screw on the back side plate.Comes with 250 yds of 30# Dacron backing. Reel weighs 13.85 oz. with the included backing. Ted recently replaced/upgraded the cork drag and spring, simply to bring it to his current level of production quality.

A very rare find on the resale market and one of the best (if not the best) spey reels on the market today. The disc drag is extremely smooth, has a wide range of drag strength and the cork is in new condition. Don't miss out on this one! Ted charges $2,850 for this reel currently.
