For sale here is a brand new rod built by Ted Simroe, legendary rod builder with the H.L. Leonard Rod Company in the 1960's and 1970's. Ted made this rod as a special order for a customer who couldn't ultimately pay for the rod when it was ready for delivery. It's six feet in length and Ted made it for a one-weight line! Two sections with two tips. The rod weighs 1 3/4 oz. and its ferrules are size 8/64. Light straw-colored cane. Diminutive cigar grip wrapped in plastic. Bright ferrules, guides and tip-tops. Bright finish nickel silver cap and ring reel seat over a gorgeous tiger maple spacer. Tan cloth bag and brass-capped aluminum tube.
