A rare Thomas and Thomas "Au Natural" limited edition bamboo fly rod, 7'6", 3-piece, 2-tip, and built for a #4 line. This was part of a limited set of thirty rods produced in 1990 and this one is #4, information which is inked on the shaft just above the grip. This one is in mint condition having been lawn cast only. The signature feature of this series is the dramatic grip, which is comprised entirely of bamboo swell (achieving this must have been a huge amount of delicate work). Medium action. Light wheatstraw colored cane, done in a three up node pattern. Beautiful varnish. Wrapped in pale bronze with black at the ferrules. Carbide stripper with dark guides and tip tops. Bright ferrules. The reel seat is a light flatted and varnished spacer which looks to be maple, and sports bright cap and ring hardware with the T&T stamp in the butt cap along with "4" stamped into the bottom. The rod packs into a brown cloth bag with a stiffener and an all-brass tube with brass fittings and "No 4" engraved into the cap.

Shipping Information
- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
