An incredibly rare one-piece Thomas and Thomas Sans Pareil, 7'6" for a 4/5 line. Serial #3329. On the faster side of medium, and I personally might like this rod with a 4. The condition is as near mint as you con get and still be near. There are a few tiny marks from the reel seat band and a just visible brassing on the inside of the guides. No hand soiling to the 5 1/2" 11 cork cigar grip. The rod is varnished with the usual impeccable T&T finish. Three up node pattern and flamed cane but this rod predates the "Tiger stripes" used on later rods. Wrapped light tan with dark brown edges and a band of black at the keeper. Carbide stripper. Perfectly varnished walnut cap and ring reel seat with a small amount of brassing to the rear cork check oxidation and a tiny bit to the edge of the cap. The butt cap is stamped "Thomas & Thomas, Makers" in the cartouche.
T&T one piece rods are extremely rare and in my view the finest made in both hand feel, action, quality construction, and beautiful finish work. Comes in a polished aluminum tube with a brass top and collar and a light olive bag with a stiffener.
