Here we have an early salmon rod by Thomas & Thomas in mint condition. This is a 9' 2/2 8wt with a 5" detatchable fighting butt. The rod is beautifully made and varnished and the writing is in the unmistakeable hand of Tom Maxwell. Original bag and tube with a space for the fighting butt. If you are going after salmon or steelhead and want to do so in style, this is the rod for you. The butt section has 3 carbide stripping guides, you could probably use it as a switch rod. I don't believe the rod has ever been fished.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
