For sale here is a beautiful Thomas and Thomas "Traditionalist" Bamboo Rod - 8' 3/2 6wt. Serial no. 4220. The rod is in excellent original condition. All sections are full length and straight. Dark flame tempered cane with transparent/clear wraps and thin amber tipping. Black tipping at the winding check. Tips numbered one and two. Generously swelled butt. Ring hook keeper. Nickel silver winding check. Western-style grip with only light soiling. Bright nickel silver uplocking reel seat over a fine mortised wood spacer. Blued guides and ferrules. Swiss style ferrules, size 16/64 and 11/64. The fit is excellent. The rod weighs 5.95 oz. Very smooth and crisp medium-fast action. Original bag with dowell stiffener and tube with label and fine brass fittings.
