NOTES: Goodwin Granger "Premier" Model 8642 - 8'6" 3/2 for a 5 weight line. The rod is in excellent restored condition. Though, there are a few issues. The mid is down 7/8" and one of the tips is down 4 1/2". The mid section male ferrule is an incorrect replacement. The two tips have different male ferrules. The markings are wrong. Could be from different eras or could be from different companies. Also, the ferrule on the short appears to have been roughly lapped to size. There is an "invisible" repair wrap just above the ferrule on the short tip section. It appears that there was a lift in the node. The female ferrule on the butt section also seems to be an incorrect replacement. Red agate stripping guide. Original cigar grip. Sliding band reel seat with some dents but overall in fine shape. Replacement tip-top on short tip.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
