For sale here is a Goodwin Granger Victory Model 8642 - 8'6 3/2 for a 5 weight line. The rod is in excellent refinished condition. The stripping guide and tip-tops are replacements. All other hardware is original. All sections are full length with a slight set in the butt section.
Classic Granger ammoniated cane. The rod features chestnut wraps with black tipping, this is of course not how the originals were wrapped. The "Granger Victory"remains with only light fading. The original western-style grip is moderately soiled and lightly ridged but overall in fine shape. The patented up-locking reel seat functions flawlessly with one minor dent on the front side. The rod has a versatile medium-fast action. The ferrules are size 17/64 and 11/64 with a great fit. The rod weighs an even 5.0 oz. Includes original bag and replacement tube.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
