For sale here is an Abel - No. 0 fly reel. Serial no. 1925. Made in the USA. The reel is in excellent though it does show a bit of very light wear around the rim of the spool and frame. the reel is left-hand wind only. The cork drag is smooth and strong. Handsome rosewood handle. Abel reels are known for their quality and craftsmanship. The reels are the perfect intersection of classic reel design with modern innovations. Rated for line weights 1-3 weights though also well suited for a 4 weight line. The reel weighs 6.05 oz. with line and backing. Diameter: 2 3/4". Spool width: .725". Reel comes with original blue Abel reel case and SA DT4F line and backing. The line is in like new condition. Don't miss out on this modern classic!

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt.
