For sale here is an Abel Pt. 5 fly reel in a glossy black finish. Serial no. 427. Made in the USA. The reel is in excellent++ condition with only the lightest of wear to the foot and the edge of the spool and frame. The cork drag is smooth and strong. Left-hand wind only. Abel reels are known for their quality and craftsmanship. The reels are the perfect intersection of classic reel design with modern innovations. Reel weighs 6.65 oz. with line and backing. Diameter: 3". Though specified as a 5-6wt reel a 4 weight line would also be well suited with the reel. Loaded with WF4F line and backing in like new condition. - We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.
