A nice John Bradford model 7313 bamboo fly rod, 7'3", 2-piece, 2-tips, and built for a #5. Serial number 1602. The rod weighs 4 ounces on my scale. A nice medium fast action. Lightly used condition, with some soiling to the grip and two small chips in the varnish on one tip, but the rod is in fine shape overall. Medium wheatstraw cane done in a three up node configuration. Wrapped in a light honey color with slightly darker honey tipping throughout, and the rod has three signature wraps between the keeper and the stripping guide. Carbide stripper with chrome snake guides and chrome tip tops. The ferrules are oxidized with the oxidation remaining very nicely intact. The grip is 6 1/2" and shaped to a medium cigar. The reel seat is a polished bright downlocking slide band over a light stabilized wood spacer. The makers mark has been stamped into the butt cap on the reverse side of the pocket. The rod packs into a tan cloth bag with the rod's hang tag in place and a brushed aluminum tube with brass fittings and the maker's data sticker affixed to it.

- We ship at cost to the buyer and in the majority of cases do so via UPS with full insurance and signature. There are cheaper options but our experience has been that you get what you pay for and that it's not worth taking risks when shipping what are often one-of-a-kind items. Your shipping estimate will be calculated at checkout and if you have any questions please contact us. Please note the buyers are responsible for any applicable import duties or fees that may levied. Due to the importance of packing items carefully please allow up to two weeks for arrival (depending on how busy we are) though we certainly do our best to get items to you as expeditiously as possible.

- Unless otherwise noted, all items come with a 3-day inspection period during which they can be returned to us for a full refund (provided that they are in the same condition in which they left our shop). Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. If an item is returned, we will issue a refund within 10 days upon receipt. Refunds will be either administered by providing a check or, when possible, by canceling a credit card purchase.
