A very nice Bob Summers Model 275 fly rod, 7'6", 2-piece, 2-tips, and built for a #4 line. 3.7 ounces. Serial #232005. Brassing to the inside of the snake guides are the only sign of use I could find. Very lightly used. Medium action and still perfectly straight with an excellent ferrule fit. Medium flamed cane done in a two-opposed node pattern. Excellent varnish finish. The wraps are a transparent brown main with black edges. SRMC carbide stripper and black snake guides. The step ferrules are oxidized. The keeper is set on the wrap flat. The cork grip is 6" long and shaped to a half wells. The reel seat has an aluminum rear cork check and a nickel silver slide band and pocket cap. The varnished wood spacer is a mortised and stained bird's eye maple. The pocket cap is stamped "RW Summers Co, Traverse City, MI, USA". The olive rod bag has Bob's embroidered label and attached ferrule plug. The rod tube is Bob's unique aluminum and brass top design.
