For sale here is a Dingley fly reel with straight latch, made for Graham and Co. 3 1/4" diameter. Fixed check is adequately strong. Foot is full length at 2.6" and unfiled. Ivorine handle is very nice and spins freely. Stamped 1 inside. Small amount of end play - I would rate the spindle fit 6 out of 10 but if it was my reel, I would fish it as is, as the end play is not too serious for my taste. Reel weighs 6.45 oz. From the late 1920's or early 30's.
